6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI can not discourage you enough from sending your child to this awful school. I have absolutely nothing good to say about it. The fights, bullying, drugs and vaping that goes on right in front of the adults is appalling. Middle school is naturally a rough time, but your child will leave this school in desperate need of therapy and not just from the other kids but the teachers and the administration, one in particular. Kids have brought weapons to school and the administration lies about it and does nothing. I have had multiple kids confirm that. My son has been bullied so much, not just by kids but by teachers and administration it's makes me physically sick. The school hides behind "policy" when it suits them. They, target certain kids, especially ones with 504 or ieps for behavioral things. So Unless your kid is super shy and never opens their mouth you will probably get a phone call for some bogus reason probably saying they are suspended. And forget it if you have a kid like mine who will defend himself to them your done. I have spoken to A LOT of parents and I have yet to find a single one who has 1 positive things to say about the school. That says a lot.Run as far as you can from this school!!!Parent Review1y ago14 Reviews - Opportunity Elementary School

"Nothing that I can think of. There are many people that walk their dog(s). The neighbors I’ve talked with are nice. There’s kids of different age groups that are in the neighborhood too."

"Plenty of places to walk your dog there’s walking trails. It’s very clean. The sidewalks are pretty good. There’s nice trees, beautiful views, and tons of places to take your dog if you were looking to have a good time in Spokane Valley."

"Our little cul de sac is pretty tight-knit. Neighbors know and look out for each other. We know one another’s vehicles and call a neighbor if something seems out of place. "

"Move here in June of 23. I am quite a senior citizen...very, very nice. To my surprise, many seniors live here. Everyone says hello. Mgt goes out of their way to keep you informed and has pleasant surprises in the lobby. A couple of maint on the grounds all day. No loud cars, immature tenants, etc. If a 1br ap is available first floor with the C - C-Trail just feet away..Take in no matter the price, rent it...to die for. The Gym, really nice. A lot of families with children...Perfect! Dog park is always used, all dogs are on a leash. Yup...5 Stars, well done. Mack Foss"

"The parks are very fun and safe for kids, I would take mine to them. I feel that most dog owners do not pick up after their pets so I would very much recommend to make sure to watch where you are walking "

"Our access to main arterial is really very good. From where I live the commute to south hill is taking me about 30 minutes. It is worth it to be away from the city. If you try and avoid peak traffic times things go pretty smoothly. "

"My commute outside of rush hour traffic is actually not bad at all. I can be downtown Spokane from the Valley in 10-15 minutes via I-90. Even rush hour isn't all that long of a hold up on most days. Maybe allows me down about 10 minutes."
