6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers are very nice and welcoming. There was a moment that was really hard for me, I had suicidal thoughts which really harmed my mental health and I stopped caring about school, until I reached out to one teacher and they made me feel seen and understood. I didn’t feel crazy or weird for how I felt and they helped me out of this really dark moment and I started getting really engaged in school and my teachers taught the curriculums in ways that were fun and engaging. The school isn’t perfect but it’s great. Also the school lunch isn’t that bad the tenders are bomb fr.Student Review2mo ago13 Reviews - Smyrna Primary School

"Lakes are 5 minutes away. Greenway trails are 5 minutes away for leisurely walks, cycling, and fitness. Parks and recreation are 5-10 minutes away and local citizens, city, and state government manage the resources well. Access to interstate highways are 5-7 minutes away. "

"I love Smyrna, and we raised our kids here. Smyrna is growing rapidly, because it’s fairly close to Downtown Nashville. Your local community in Smyrna is still fairly small, with a small town atmosphere. I’m close to the library, and it feels safe, surrounded area have nice sidewalks for walking and biking. It’s quiet and safe at night. Nice smaller neighborhoods, which makes it easier to connect with your neighbors. Well kept yards, and it feels safe to let your kids play outside and in the neighborhood. Good living for singles, couples and families with children. Helena"

"Commuting to Nashville is horrendous. I live 16 miles from my workplace, and it takes an hour to get there. My fiancé’s workplace is 23 miles from downtown Nashville and his commute is 1.5 hours. We liked living in Murfreesboro but Smyrna isn’t doing well and so many businesses are closing. People here are rude and trashy, do yourself a favor and move to Nashville. "

"trick or treating, all the kids play outside together and ride bikes. Neighbours watch out for each other’s kids. I’ve lived here since 1996 so it’s been a good experience for my family. lots of local churches and community activities "

"Teach typical safety; people speed their cars more than I’d care for (but that’s not akin to this area specifically.) Very friendly, quaint, convenient. "

"Typical for any suburb of Nashville. While the town of Smyrna isn’t busy, roads on or nearing the interstate will be during rush hour."

"My husband and I have recently relocated from out of state and are lucky enough to work from home so we don’t have to deal with commuting however we have been out during ‘rush hour’ and can say that although there is a little traffic it’s nothing that would cause any major delays or cause your blood pressure to skyrocket. We’ve moved from New York so our view of traffic might be a little skewed, traffic to us is brake lights as far as you can see paired with an extra 1-3 hours travel time. In the few months we’ve been here we haven’t witnessed any true traffic (by our definition). "
