"Nice place. cars speed a lot. sometimes people play music super late at night in the summer but it’s been better the last few years "
  • Shane Skeldon
"Fair to middlin. I work 30 minutes away. Traffic is usually manageable, even at peak times. Bridges are an occasional concern. "
  • Msmitto
"Pretty quite , although people do speed sometimes . Summer time there are some party’s that go late but for the most part they are respectable. "
  • Teddylee2
"Lots of squirrels! And many dogs parks around the area. Which are tended to very well. Plus numerous veterinary clinics nearby. "
  • corey618
"Movie nights in the park, and party in the park for the kids. Trick or treating is big in our neighborhood, and a lot of families decorate for the big holidays like Christmas and Halloween. "
  • Hcyqhhd6rz
"The neighborhood is designed for dogs to love. Just make sure you clean up your poop as well as your dogs too."
  • Trulia User
"My community does not have great access to public transportation. If one does not have a car., a person would have to walk at least 2 miles. "
  • Sara Villagran
"Not stolen, take care of the neighborhood, don’t speed, drive with care, be kind with others, respectfully "
  • Abby Atilano
"There are a lot of families in this neighborhood and several parks within walking distance. Whenever it is nice out, the neighborhood is very lively with people out walking, biking, etc. "
  • Strawberry_922
"My commute to and from work is such a short ride. It takes me approximately 15 minutes to get to work, but if the traffic is heavy 20 at the most."
  • Coop Jess
"I don’t know I’m new to the area. This is a very quiet area, very busy street. Neighbors are ok for the most part."
  • Larez Palmer

  • Trulia User
"nice on corporated area feeling to the neighborhood it's a nice trees. wonderful parks in baseball diamonds Little League Baseball Knights of Columbus nearby"
  • Trulia User
"what's nice about the Ridgewood area there are two really different areas east of Bridge Street and West of Bridge Street the section west of Brick Street is in unincorporated Joliet Township which is also known as Joliet. But it's like a Hidden Gem the values have not risen crazy high Pilcher Park Nature Center Highland Park Frisbee golf and bird Haven Park higginbottom Woods are all nearby as well as the Woodruff golf course. Houses don't come up for sale very often and let's hope the values don't creep up to crazy"
  • Trulia User
"the yards are on the large side, lots of trees, park is right there ,Highland Park and Pilcher Park as well the Nature Center. plenty of space to walk your dog. people mind their pets. It's unneighborly to leave your dog unattended while it barks."
  • Trish
"It’s quiet and people are friendly. There is not much crime and people do try to clean the outside. "
  • Abr29.cg
"There are neighbors that don’t have their pets on a leash and let them roam the neighborhood pooping on everyone’s lawn or urinating the tires of your car; their pets are out all night barking and don’t let their pets inside despite the cold weather. Recommend having a fence up or you will be picking up feces regularly."
  • Samantha S.
"Dogs are always on leashes and always picked up after. Never had an issue with pets in the neighborhood. "
  • Allysum F.
"This neighborhood is fairly close to RT. 59 and black road which are two major roads in the area. There’s multiple ways to access these roads too and plenty of gas stations, dinning options and Walgreens/CVS near by. 10/10 recommend "
  • Ariel G.
"There is a walking trail that is about 13 miles long with parks at different entrances and this trail goes through forests. Nice to walk your dog. One of the parks at an entrence of the trail is a dog park and it tends to be busy, usually plenty of other dogs there. You do have to pay a fee however to bring your dog here."
  • Ariel G.
"Joliet offers minimal buses and public transportation. Not reliable to live off of unless you use a lot of uber but that adds up. I would definitely recommend having a car. "
  • Ariel G.
