I was surprised to see it have such a low rating, but then I realized how many non English speaking children are in this school which is causing all the test scores to be lower than average. Florida needs to offer some specialized schools or classes for this population. We had the best experience there this last 3 years. Mr Preddy is an amazing principal, their team of assistant principals and counselors is outstanding, and their teachers and staff are all super committed. They all work hard to create a safe and wonderful environment for the kids to thrive both academically and emotionally. I called numerous times to speak with the 9th grade assistant principal, left a message and never got a return call back. If you dial the extension number to a specific staff member, they won't pick up, as if they're screening calls or answering only when they feel like it. Emails won't get responded to as well. People in foreign countries are able to reach me about my car's extended warranty but this school can't even return a call.Parent Review5mo ago
