My son is currently special need student and he started Pre-K about a year ago at that school. The teacher was “OK” she was unprofessional in communication & made me feel like I was annoying her when I was simply trying to make sure my son was ok since he started biting his nails really bad and was trying to make sure he had those accommodations. The teacher even told me once that she knew my son more than me which made me feel upset she was very stubborn lady stuck to her ways. The environment itself was not too bad but there was a lot of tension from staff and rudeness at times. I let my son stay there because I knew I was moving . They also talk to the kids rudely and expect for pre-k kids to know almost everything not a positive experience for a pre-k child that’s being introduced to education. Unprofessional and ghetto. My son started kindergarten at a different school and the difference is from day to Night. My son was scared of school because of this school and now he loves his school . I would say I understand that schools aren’t perfect but university meadows has a long way to go. Very disappointing .

One of the sixth grade teachers is completely unhelpful. My brother was trying to find out what bus slot he was and his teacher completely ignored him, and he had to find out from other people.

I am extremely disappointed in the overall performance and leadership of this high school’s administration. There appears to be a consistent lack of effective communication, which creates confusion not only for students but also for parents and staff. Important updates are either delayed, unclear, or not communicated at all, leaving everyone to navigate decisions without proper guidance.Additionally, there is a noticeable lack of control and organization within the school environment. Situations that require structure and leadership often seem unmanaged, resulting in an atmosphere where expectations are unclear and inconsistently enforced. This not only impacts the quality of the school environment but also undermines the sense of stability that students need to succeed.Equally concerning is the lack of genuine care and support demonstrated toward students. Student well-being and success should be the top priority, yet there are repeated instances where concerns do not appear to be taken seriously or addressed in a timely, thoughtful manner.What stands out most is the absence of accountability. When issues arise or mistakes are made, there is little to no acknowledgment or ownership from the administration. Instead of transparency and corrective action, there is a pattern of deflection or silence, which further erodes trust.Overall, this school needs to be audited by higher ups. The administration (especially Dr. Hicks) needs significant improvement in communication, leadership, and accountability to create a supportive and effective learning environment.
