My child has gone here since kindergarten she is now is 5th this year has been the worst there are some great teachers in this school but unfortunately the principal is cold and rude and this school is so overpopulated there 625+ kids in this tin your building they have changed all the policies where they do not want parents in thevery building at all no lunch no walking you kindergartener to class (even on 2nd day ) the teachers that do parent drop off yell at the parents if you don't want them opening your car door and pulling your child out! They are VERY disrespectful to say the least. My children will NOT be going here again next year I would pay for private school or even homeschool before I let them go to this prison again

Two-faced staffs.Many teachers here have obvious favoritism to the popular half of the school.Quieter kids are seen as lower, so as the sped kids.Students bully, use foul language on the low, but no punishments are made.Depending on your hierarchy in the school, you will be seen as less as or worshipped.Even a kid sexually harassed a girl… no transfer, just a suspension and he was right back here.SPED kids are treated even worser, they are bullied and no one says a thing.Please do your child a favor and do not send them to this school.

I personally wouldn’t recommend this school. The majority of the time, there are claims that “MHS truly cares about each of their students”, and most of the time they seem to care a lot more about making sure that it SEEMS that way to everyone else. I do think that there are good teachers who do care about their students, and I do think there are some good classes and opportunities available, but the majority of the time it’s the administrative staff that bring the school down so much and ignore the important issues while focusing way too much on the smaller ones, the ones that actually affect their public image. The creative classes were great though, but that’s more of an outlier than the norm. Anyways, I’d consider other options first.
