worst school ever they put my daughter in that Hispanic class know that she's going to repeat her grade now in the beginning I told them that she didn't need to be in that class and I did not sign the permission slip slip for her to be in that class but now she's going to have to repeat a grade now I feel like that's so unfair no thank you Belvior elementary school thank you to the principal and assistant Principal

I am a former teacher at this school and this review is a joke! Between the students and administration I was fighting a two front battle on a daily basis. This job ruined me on education and forced me to change careers. Students are unruly disrespectful and behave in a uncivilized manner on a daily basis. Myself and other teachers would receive threats from students and send them to the office only to have them returned to us within the same class period and no disciplinary action taken on the students. If anything the teacher was later reprimanded for sending the student out of class. Students are never held accountable for their behavior at this school so they will never learn. The teachers instead are blamed for the actions of the student. I have worked at rough schools previously however this was one of the most backwards and frustrating experiences in my life. The teaching staff as a whole is great and do all that they can with what they are given. The class sizes horrendous. In order to boost test scores the subject areas that are tested regularly are quite small, but any content area that is not tested with an EOC is packed with students. It was not uncommon to see classes with 35-40 students packed into a class. There is not enough money in the world to get me to work at this school again, and under no circumstances would I ever send my child here. I would fear for their safety given the barbaric nature and uncontrollable student population.

The principal makes choice that does not involve the parents what so every! I have been denture the ability to speak with the principal dispute the many times I’ve ask for conferences and or the opportunity to speak with the counselors and teachers about Yamire academics. There is no communication between teachers and parents when I call and walk in for conference I am unable to have one the principal always Denys my attempts! The school is more interested in my son playing sports and winning games then they are his academics and his behavior. My son played four games in a row and returned from brake to be in iss for two to three days no letter from the principal; she actually told him she wasn’t printing any informations for me. Never called in reference to any of the situations nor emailed! Yet again now he’s suspended and we’re received no communications that’s our major Issue
