5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has renewed my faith in teaching as a profession. I had been really discouraged by our last public school experience (in a school that was supposed to be one of the best in that district). After a year at Franklin, I can't really believe the difference. The principal at this school is absolutely awesome. He is very engaged, and a calm presence, who seems to be constantly working on making the school the best - educationally- that it can be. The teachers really care about each kid in each class. I have seen them go above and beyond to make sure they are catching problem areas for kids and help them excel. It is a smaller school in a suburban district. It gets all the benefits of a suburban district, but feels like a small town school. The specials (library, music, art) are also incredible. The types of creative projects and opportunities offered to kids which supplement what they are learning in the class is amazing. I mean, we actually have an art teacher! It is not perfect, but if I ever question why we moved, I think about the education my kids are getting at Franklin and I know we are in the right place.Parent Review11y ago4 Reviews - Liberty North High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school claims to be about respect but all they’re really about is appearance. They don’t discourage bullying at all their way of dealing with it is telling your bully that you told on them and then maybe giving them a small punishment like a day of ISS. They don’t care if your kid learns or doesn’t they just want you the parent to think that they do. I can honestly say that lps53’s lack of care resulted in me having horrible depression and social anxiety. If you care about your children you will keep them far away from this school and the other schools associated with them.Other Review2y ago6 Reviews - Heritage Middle School

"The traffic moves very well. Easy access to highways. My commute is to south Kansas City and takes me about 40 minutes at 6:00 am. It usually takes longer to drive home at 5:00 pm. "

"There are a lot of pet owners in this neighborhood. For the most part, people pick up after their pets. There are a few dogs that are left outdoors a lot and they bark non stop. "

"There are so many people with dogs - if your dog is social he/she would love it! If they do not like dogs, there are a lot of dogs. Sidewalks are well maintained and it’s great to take the dog on a walk to the square!"

"We allow pit bull breeds now in the city so it’s a great time to have a dog here. People walk their dogs along the street at all times of the day and no one leaves feces on anyone’s lawns. "
