Description

Everyone - Due to a problem with the boiler system, we had to cancel the previous ads and potential rental. That is now fixed (much sooner than expected) and the rental is available (Mar 1st). If you contacted us before and are still interested, please contact us again. Thank you for your patience.

Sunny, spacious 3 bd, 2 ba mountain home in Harris Park near Bailey. 1900 sf, 2-story with radiant heat, pellet stove, and a 1-car heated garage.

Main floor is dyed polished concrete (looks like stone) with radiant heat in the floor and contains the kitchen, living room, dining room, 2 of the bedrooms (smaller), one of the full baths, the pellet stove, laundry area and single (heated) garage. Second Floor is carpeted with baseboard heat and contains the master bedroom (large), another full bath and a loft area that overlooks the main floor (would work well as an office).

The house is located on the outer edge of a small fishing community (9 miles north of Hwy 285 past Conifer between Pine Junction and Bailey) with easy access to national forest, hiking, biking and private fishing, along with an abundance of wildlife.

Yes, it's an extremely nice comfortable house. No, it is not in town. The commute to the intersection of C-470 and Hwy 285 is approx 45 minutes. Downtown Denver is about an hour. Your well-behaved pets are welcome and we don't charge extra for them. But...personal pets only - no backyard breeder/puppy mill people. Please, absolutely no pot growing. It causes way too much damage.

The rent is 1800/mo. The deposit is also 1800. The house is available as of Friday 03-01-2019 and we do require an application.

If you have any questions, please call 303-697-4110. Evenings are best or leave a message for us to call you back. Sorry, NO TEXTS (this is a land line and will answer as Snow Bear - this is still us). Thanks so much!

"It’s not too bad. Summer Fridays is usually pretty busy going up the hill with all the campers and Sunday mornings is crazy with campers heading home. "
  • Jim.tyler2009
"Dog owners should love this area. So many hiking areas. Lots of dogs. Parks recreation areas and dog friendly people. The wildlife can be of serious concern to dog owners so it’s a place to be on constant guard of your pets. Mountain Lions, Bear and coyote have all been seen in the area. There does not seem to be any cats here. Just dogs. Probably best that small dogs be watched at a high level. "
  • Elk.martin
"this is a great place to live. the people are very friendly and there is abundant wildlife in the area."
  • Decker903
"Wildlife, and calmness of the mountains mixed with the feeling is a close nit community. There is a learning curve for people coming from a city atmosphere."
  • Nick W.
"A mountain town if there ever was one! Gorgeous place to live, just be ready to commute for most things. Definitely need a car that handles well in the snow."
  • Susan B.
"absolutely gorgeous mountain living with wildlife on properties only 35 minutes from Denver"
  • jtdayusa
"Incredible views with a sky full of stars at night. Great energy here."
  • sam s.
"Great area for work at home people, also a opportunity for mechanic, cabinet maker or any one who wants privacy and a bif insulated shop to make a living and only have a 100 ft commute. The roads are maintained all year so when you do need to get into town there is no problems. If you are into hiking, biking, wildlife or just peace and quiet all you have to do is walk out your front door. the community has three stocked fishing lakes and a community center with a park for the little ones.
