"it's OK still a decent neighborhood a lot of college kids but most are quiet a very mixed race area and many kids that's play.................."
  • Zach B.
"From the middle of the city at 6 a.m. the commute is very simple and easy. There isn't much traffic until after 7 a.m closer to school starting and even then, its still not very congested. "
  • Ejarnold02
"It’s a good neighborhood I liked growing up here but I plan on moving out of Rock Island for a reason. A lot of people here can be belligerent drunks and the fact that save more now sells alcohol has only made that worse. I use to walk there alone as a kid before but I wouldn’t dare do that now even as a grown adult I won’t walk there alone at night."
  • Amy O.

  • Athena55757
"The neighborhood has a definite older tone. the buildings and structures are visibily aged. The streets and sidewalks are not well maintained. "
  • Benjamindavidward
"Very eclectic and historic. A great variety of restaurants and attractions plus I think it’s the best kept secret for quiet living in the Quad Cities area."

"I live walking distance from my job but traffic in this area is never bad. Public transit is limited. There are buses but they run a limited schedule. Never fly in on the last flight of the night and expect to find a cab. They just stop running. "
  • Amy K.
"We have friendly neighbors and get together and talk in the street or in our yards. Everyone is super friendly. "
  • Jose J. V.
