Seen a lot of fights the teachers try to be engaging, but they are WAY to harsh on the no phone rule you can't even have your phone at lunch if you do they will take it for the whole day

I am a student who attends and it is terrible. They do nothing about bullying there is few teachers in the school that care about their kids and actually have fun. Every teacher except a few are misserable. They do nothing about racial/homophobic slurs. I have been called a racial or honophobic slur at least 100 times and thats an understatment. The school is not safe either. Kids will vape in the bathrooms, they will get jumped. There is also little mini gangs and constant drugs on campus. The other day i found 4 packs of zyns in the boys bathroom. Some teachers have no respect for their students but i wont name names. There was a stretch where one of my previous math teachers made me hate life and school so much i came home and complained about her for a month. Overall terrible school dont send your kids here and think they're safe. One more thing some students have had intercourse so keep that in mind. Dont send your kids here if you want them to be safe and actually have fun it will ruin their childhood.

My stepson just transferred into 1st grade at Paradise Canyon this year and the first week of school he was whipped with a jump rope by another student (which his bio parents weren't notified of by the school, this was shared from my stepson to his mother, who then went to the school & verified & was told the school didn't think it was a big deal), got in a physical altercation with 6+ other students on the playground, and less than a week later got into another altercation started by another student. Mind you, these other students are 2+ years older than my stepson (although he's large for his age). Yesterday, my stepson's aunt asked the school to hold him in the office for 10 min after school as she was running late to pick him up, and she was told that he had to leave on time and he was going to be forced to walk home (which is just down the road, but he's never walked home before). When she got to his house, he wasn't home, and when she called the school they told her, "Oh no, we have him here in the office!". This school is unpredictable, doesn't seem to think that informing parents of physical altercations is important, and doesn't seem to care about the safety of 6 year olds, much less anyone else.
