Due to my job, we have moved around a lot. Unfortunately this is the first time I’ve felt led to leave a review on a school before. My son attended 4th grade here, and I am going to be speaking to Nash County to see if there are ANY other options. The car pickup/drop off area is dangerous, there’s no order and the teachers that are “in charge” literally just scream at students and parents instead of coming up with a system that makes sense. The front office staff is less than friendly, and makes no effort to provide communication for incoming students and parents. The teachers seem like they don’t even want to be there and have terrible attitudes. My son, who normally loves school, dreads going to school every day because of this. He’s been to many other schools in North Carolina and he loves most of his teachers, but here he says he feels like this is what jail feels like because the staff are always in a bad mood. I hope something changes in the future.
