The experience was truthfully a mixed bag of good and god awful. Most of the teachers thankfully were nice and helped me out but others were super rude and would well at me. The other students there were really nice and I didn't get any bullying in the slightest. But the food was honestly horrible and the staff are way too hard on the students imo. I wouldn't recommend to take your kids here. You could definitely do better.

"Grawood Baptist Church is across the street from us. They encourage everyone in the community to attend regular service, as well as special events. Special events include a spring carnival, fireworks/food/small market for the 4th of July etc. There is an auctioneer at the front of our neighborhood who regularly participates in community functions. She has helped with our annual yard sales and Trunk or Treating!"

"Church events, trunk or treat, neighborhood garage sales make this a close, comfortable community. Everyone knows everyone and the property value seems to be upheld pretty well."

"Must keep dogs contained or people complain A LOT about it, and may possibly call authorities. Most people are nice about lost dogs or ones that got out. "

"It's like every other community..good and unpleasant people. Schools are definitely worse than they used to be, but as long as parents are diligent in their involvement with teachers & personnel...still better than most. "

"We are far out in the country. The schools assigned to us are underfunded and overcrowded, since they bus the kids into Shreveport for class. Quiet. "

"We live across the street. This is a very family and pet friendly neighborhood. Horses, cows, dogs, cats, and chickens. Lots of wildlife if you want to encourage them. Quiet. Kind of secluded, so can walk the area, or ride bikes, or kids play in streets. Only traffic is people living here. A gas station and church are within easy walking distance. Super Wal Mart about one mile away. Have lived here since 1970 and love, love, love it."
