"Dogs are welcome, just be sure you keep them safe, we have wildlife around and cars....it is a resort area and has the lake for dogs to swim."
  • Ann A.
"Our neighbors enjoy seeing our dog as we walk by. Most have dogs of their own. Nice gravel road and little traffic good for walking. "
  • Ann A.
"It’s very quiet most of the year, but the summer is lots of fun. Fireworks, swimming, and relaxing on each other’s patios is common. "
  • Cinda D
"I live in a resort area with gravel roads and no cell service because of hilly terrain. Takes 25 minutes to get to the nearest town. "
  • Ann A.
"There is lots of fishing, wildlife, and room to run. Some local lakefront restaurants have swim beaches and are family friendly. Boating is fun whether your family has a speed boat, wakeboard boat, or pontoon. Many smaller tributaries can be explored by kayak or canoe, though the open lake channels are usually too rough with larger boats. It’s not like living in a tract or suburban area. Most homes have large yards or acreage. With plenty for the kids to do outdoors, it’s a great place to offer them an alternative to gaming and computer activities. When they’re ready to come inside and stream a movie, that’s covered, too. Gravois Mills is covered by the local electric co-op’s outstanding fiber optic to the home internet access! Nice neighbors, too. "
  • Dekff558
"great place to live. we live on the lake and can not think of a better place to live. being on the west side of the lake is nice because you don't have to deal with crazy people or extra large boats tearing up everything. "
