I am a past 2term president of the PTA, my son and I were very active with the school's community, along with Mr. Ken Wallace, Jerry Lee and Brenda; because they offered my son a place to belong and succeed, he is. now a God loving, God fearing member of our community in Roma, TX. Work with the teacher that posted that students are being "coddled", because we used to have very little turn over because our teachers were appreciated and respected. Do you still have the Medical Magnet Program?

The teachers are sometimes disrespectful to children. I remember when I went there in 6th grade one of the teachers said "where's your dad" to a student who had lost their father, then continued to say "I have two jobs and don't need this job so I don't care if you report me". There has been a TON of vaping and fights and bullying at that school. Sometimes there was fights the teachers didn't know about. One girl would be constantly bullied and one time a bunch of kids in a class gathered around her pointing at her hair claiming to see lice and kept messing with her about that for a WHILE. Then she would get bullied about her shoes and her hair and just a lot of unnecessary things. Overall the kids in this school aren't respectful along with teachers, except for a few.

If the school year gets better I’ll change my stance. The front office attendance clerk is RUDE. I had my son registered since may! I then turned in what he needed 2 weeks in advance! They didn’t have him in a class at open house. Were extremely rude when handling the issue. Learned my son won’t meet his teacher until the first day of school. They were not apologetic or understanding at our frustration. Yet wanted me to be understanding at theirs? Your asking me to put my sons safety and knowledge in your hands and you can’t even be empathetic when you guys are the ones that caused the problem?

This school is by fair the worst !! They are super unprofessional you aren't able to talk to the principal for anything. We have had some bullying situations happen and they never took it seriously!!!!! Something definitely needs to be gone on how they run there school n staff!!
