Description

10 ACRES conveniently located between Mt. Pleasant and Midland! This cute and cozy two bedroom one bath home needs some TLC, but the detached two-car garage, HUGE 50x125+ pole barn with steel trusses and additional storage addition, and 10 acres all your own make this home and property a must-see. The approximately 1600 sq ft home has been nicely maintained on the inside and offers a bright, spacious family room with cathedral ceilings and its own natural gas heater. The home was originally 3 smaller bedrooms and could be converted back to that if desired Outside, the partially-wooded property provides room to ride, hunt, garden, or wander while you connect with nature. The large pole barn originally housed horses and provides access to both electricity and water. Whether you update the existing home, build something new, or just utilize the land and outbuildings, this unique parcel is ready to make your dreams come true! Please note: the home needs a new septic tank, so buyer will need to escrow funds at closing for its replacement.

  • Tom R.
"Simple commute by car, walking or bike to work as only one mile to CMU campus. Traffic is never an issue from my neighborhood."
  • Garrettstein1978
"some neighbors keep to themselves and some are outgoing neighbors. we have multiple parks surrounding us. at least four within walking distance and about 4 a few miles away. their is a huge walking trail that connects most of the parks."
  • Linsey C.
"It's full of college kids and parties. It's diverse in nature because of the University. Honestly, there isn't a whole lot to do in the city and a lot of people travel outside of the city for things to do."
  • Queenvkingjbwmn
"I live just a ways down from the biggest park here, some organizations give BBQ,and have events going in the historic downtown part, it's small, smaller than what I'm used to growing up in Ann arbor and Detroit areas. But the crime is really low, every once in awhile something big will go down but the police forces here quickly, and I do mean quickly resolve them. Always keep in mind that central Michigan college isnt too far away, but far enough for quietness. I would live here forever if I can find an affordable home to rent,I'm sick of living in an apartment. I'd like a house."
