Description

This well-kept patio home offers 1,600 sq ft of thoughtfully designed space, featuring 2 spacious bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and zero stairs for true main-level living. Step inside to soaring vaulted ceilings and an inviting open layout that flows seamlessly from the updated kitchen to the main living area. You'll love the large walk-in pantry that doubles as a safe room—a smart and secure bonus for Kansas weather. The primary suite offers direct patio access, a spacious en-suite bath, and a huge walk-in closet. The concrete patio—accessible from both the living room and primary bedroom—makes for the perfect spot to sip coffee or unwind in the evenings. A rare find, this home also includes a 3-car garage that’s been nicely updated and a new roof installed in 2021. Tucked into a quiet street but still close to Derby’s best shopping, dining, and parks, with easy access to Wichita, this low-maintenance gem checks all the boxes.

"Our community has most everything we need so don’t need to go to the closest bigger city very often."
  • Sroberts10
"Lots of community events, great parks and walking/biking paths, local rec center and wonderful library."
  • Dunfamily55
"Derby is a lovely, small city with easy access to Wichita, both east and west sides of the city. It Is a very safe place to live, with very little crime, extremely decent schools & nice city amenities here too. The Derby Recreation Center has many excellent programs for all ages of children and families. Worth checking that out, since it’s a great way to meet locals if you’re new to Derby. The public library here in Derby is absolutely fantastic as well. The people are mostly friendly and welcoming & it’s a lovely place to live, with really everything you need so trips into Wichita are mostly unnecessary to have to make. "

"It’s a safe city here in Derby. It’s close to Wichita but feels a little isolated, enough that nobody comes down here from Wichita just to cause trouble, it doesn’t seem like. Schools Seem to be good & sports programs in the schools seem to be doing well. There’s a fairly nice senior center for exercising here in Derby too. "
  • Lisa B
"I have nothing to say for the most part. Have tried to meet neighbors in the three years living here. However, only one friendly one. "
  • Sroberts10
"Friendly, safe community with great parks and family activities. Great rec center, food options and shopping. Small town feel that’s close to Wichita."
  • Yprgjsshxg

  • T.S.
"We have a great elementary school, we live right across the street from the high school. The main Derby shopping is just a few blocks away. You can find your church home not too far away from home. High park is just a bike ride away. Our neighborhood puts on the best 4th of July display every year and it has the best view of High Park’s display also!"
  • Marissa S.
"There are many dogs that live around the area, and almost all are friendly dogs. But there are some that are not on leashes. "
  • Kathic69
"great parks, friendly people. everything is conveniently located, small town atmosphere. very safe place to live."
