7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen my family first came to Mt. Carmel Elementary in the early 2010s, it was a wonderful school — full of heart, great leadership, and phenomenal teachers. It truly felt like a community where kids loved to learn and families were proud to belong. My children and I loved it. Unfortunately, over the years the leadership and staff have changed, and so has the atmosphere. The current administration has taken away much of the joy, creativity, and warmth that once made this school so special. What used to be one of the most sought-after schools in the area now feels rigid and uninspired. We moved to get far away from the dictator in charge. The county is aware and turns a blind eye. Family connections, if you know what I mean. It’s disheartening to see how far the school has fallen from what it once was. I hope one day Mt. Carmel can return to being the fun, nurturing, and community-driven place it used to be.Parent Review7mo ago9 Reviews - Hampton Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had to take my daughter out of this school and into virtual learning because the counselors and admin here are a complete JOKE. They do not have the kids interest at all. They are incompetent and quite honestly are just there for a paycheck. They ruined my daughter’s experience of ever going back to traditional school.Parent Review2y ago8 Reviews - Hampton High School
