About this House

Room for rent in a luxurious and tranquil 2700 sqft house. The property is gated and sits on an half-acre. It's located in northern Vista near the border of Bonsail.

One occupant per room. I am not interested in housing a couple or allowing multiple roommates to reside in my house. If interested we can schedule a tour any day between 9am-5pm.

My home features many fruit trees, flowering plants, located atop a hill, and it has an ocean view. On a clear day you can see Catalina island. This is a wonderful and peaceful place to live for people that enjoy a rural setting, but individuals that still need close access to the 15, 76 or the 78.

Ideal for students and conveniently located near Palomar College, CSUSM, and Mira Costa.

Tenants are allowed one everyday-driver. You have a private bathroom, and a parking spot in the garage. Additional vehicle storage is $200 per month.

-One occupant per room, I cannot stress that detail enough.

-No pets, I have a dog and a cat. My roommate also has a cat. They are wonderful with people but not so good with other dogs or cats.

-Overnight guests are fine but no more than 1 day a week (unless given written consent by landlord)

-Must be a lawful US citizen with a social security number and credit history.

-Month to month lease to start, but I'm open to a 1 year lease after a trial period

-Be clean and neat.

-Must be responsible and generally a quiet person.

-Should be easygoing and a good communicator.

-Utilities and monthly cleaning are not included in rent.

Credit should be 750 or higher and you should make enough money to afford rent/utilities and your costs of living.

    "Super close to the transit station, and Vista Village is beautiful. There’s a nice little trail and stream with ducks all over it near the water park and it’s a nice stroll if you like taking the scenic route. The view from the top of the hill at the apartment complex is to die for."
