Description

This is a 300 sq ft FURNISHED cottage that sits behind the main home. The cottage looks toward the barn and pasture. You follow the shared driveway to the back of the property to access private parking in the pasture (not paved) that's located directly next to the guest home. The property is gated, accessed by remote or code. The area is extremely safe.

Inside is furnished with a queen bed, couch and two sitting chairs. A small kitchen includes a fridge, microwave and convectional/toaster oven. There is no dishwasher, stove or washer/dryer. We do provide a hot plate, waffle maker and crockpot. The unit has wifi, streaming services, A/C and hot water. A full size tub and shower is in the bathroom.

Monthly rent includes all utilities. Host requests that guests conserve energy when not in the unit.

Farmer’s Market every Saturday, antique shops and candy stores, great BBQ, wine bar, really good microbrewery with amazing food, the best yoga studio ever, parades, music festivals, a great live music venue for Texas country, old classic country, blues, independent musicians, organic and gluten-free, keto-friendly restaurant, lots of good places to eat that are from so many different cultures. We also have a great community college, and Spring Creek Park which is wooded, has lots of forest trails, an archery range, camping and a frisbee golf course. Good shopping. "

    "I’ve lived here for 3 and a half years and I love it. I live on 5 acres in a country setting, lots of trees and green everywhere. The houses are spaced far apart and set back from the road. It’s quiet and there aren’t any street lights, just a few porch lights. It’s serene and beautiful, yet close to a great park for walking trails and even camping overnight and also just a mile from the highway and grocery stores, movie theater, restaurants. Just a couple of blocks from our quaint “old town” with dozens of antique stores and restaurants. "
