All ceilings, plaster and asbestos have been removed leaving exposed joists, rafters, and brick. All previous flooring has been removed and new subfloor installed. A rough framed staircase going from ground level to second floor is now installed on the interior of the building. An interior staircase has been added between 2nd and 3rd floors. Rough framing to separate the buildings from each other with a 2x6 stud wall and plywood to separate the units. Two electrical meters installed (no electrical run from the panel). New roof with 4inch insulation installed with divisions between buildings. Exterior will be painted, new gutters and downspouts. New storefront is currently being installed. New exterior door will be installed on the first floor rear entrance. New Marvin window sashes will be installed soon. New fire sprinkler line to be installed in the crawlspace. As a residential space, it can easily accommodate 3-4 bedrooms on the 2nd-3rd floor. Projected completion is summer 2026.

"I love our neighbors! If someone needs help we all pitch in. No need to worry about your property when you are not home. Our neighbors will immediately contact us if they see something suspicious, and we do the same for them."

"The local community is very close knit and continually looking out for each other. Yet not to the extreme of being in each other’s business too much. Local public transit is certainly in need of improvement. The area is for the most part very well maintained and has a nice visual appeal and cleanliness. A fair amount of variety in regards to activities, shopping and dining. "

"I have lived in this neighborhood for 46 years. I love living here. The new houses that are being built in the back bring in a lot of traffic, but it's still a fantastic place to live."

"Since there are not many jobs here I have had to taken a job in Atlanta so the morning commute is varied at 4:30 a.m. But I really don't see much in the way of traffic problems in this small city. "

"I have lived in this neighborhood for 13 years now. A lot of neighbors run and walk their dogs in this neighborhood. There is a lake and wooded areas with deer, rabbits, foxes, ducks and geese in this neighborhood. We are minutes from town but it feels like the country."
