1 Route, Coalgate, OK 74538

We moved to Coalgate and based on the reviews here, we started at Cottonwood School. The few weeks there where horrible. I went to a meeting where 5 staff members where expecting my wife. They had every intention of moving my kids back before they where given a chance to adjust to a new school and requirements. They wanted to do testing for the mental ability to learn and tried to tell me it was standard for all new students. I was told if I did not let them do all the testing they wanted that I was tying their hands and they could not help my kids. All I can say is don't just rely on the reviews here. Talk to people at different schools. Ask questions and use some common sense. Don't just swallow all the garbage they want to feed you. We are at a different school now and all is well. My kids make good grades and enjoy going and that is what matters!
