Highland Park is a great school and the information does need updating. Last year’s test scores were the best in the district. Placing them at either at 9/10 or 10/10 according to how Great Schools evaluates schools.

This school is awful and unfair. The head of the school doesn't do anything about bullying and target students for no reason. I absolutely didn't enjoy this place

During my time at Manchester High School, I found the condition of the building and overall environment extremely appalling, especially the issues hidden from public view. Many areas are disgusting and poorly maintained. Under one staircase, I personally saw human feces smeared across the wall, which is not an exaggeration. In the cafeteria and nearby areas, rotting food was left out in plain sight for months. Many sinks and water fountains were broken, cafeteria seats were damaged, and several heaters did not work at all.The school is clearly worn down, yet administration seems more focused on diversity rankings than student success. Grades are low, and serious problems are ignored. During my sophomore year, a student ran through the hallway deliberately dropping feces. Students also vape almost daily in bathrooms with little consequence.New policies show a lack of control, especially the phone policy, which very few students follow. Classrooms have damaged walls and broken ceiling tiles, and constant disruptions hurt learning. Teachers care but are underpaid, and leadership has been ineffective. Overall, student safety and cleanliness are ignored in favor of appearances.
