As a current student this school dose not care for my mental or physical health,there was a condom found by students on the black top, kids at my school say highly racist things,the new principal is horrible.on tacky day (a day we’re we dress up as something funny or something we would wear normally) the new principal dressed up as “us” the students mocking us.

We have had 3 kids here and the school seems to be getting even better every year. My youngest tells me he is happy there, does not get bullied and does receive help with his school work. Great communication with each and every faculty member. Email response is always less than 24 hours. Class sizes are less than 30 kids per (that I know of.)

Hudson Elementary likes to show itself as this amazing school, but my experience wasn’t like that at all. For instance, I was in trouble for a comment about my stuffed animals - something I didn’t understand was incorrect - while another student said something much worse - “she will regret being born” - and the counselor said “I know you’re mad.” That’s ridiculous.They also boast a lot about how much they “support” their students who have autism, ADHD, or other disabilities. However, most of the staff does not care for the students who have those conditions themselves. For instance, staff members have told me and other students “don’t cry” or “don’t interact with him/her because he/she is not listening.” One staff member even told me “shame on you” every time I didn’t follow an instruction. Staff members have also mocked other students with disabilities - something extremely disappointing to hear from the people who are supposed to care for those students. Overall, despite their bragging rights as one of the top-tier schools in the district, I had the same issues as every other school in the area. Nothing about Hudson Elementary lives up to what they say about the school. The difference between what they say about themselves as a school versus how they act and treat their students - especially those with autism or other disabilities - is significant. Students deserve to be treated better at schools than what Hudson Elementary offers for those with neurodivergent conditions.
