"This neighborhood is close to a super busy highway and not really very safe for walking dogs. There is a walking trail close by though "
    • Erinne C.
"Parks are limited, especially parks with equipment for toddlers. Sidewalks are often in disrepair so navigating with a stroller can be difficult. Chestnut Street and the Diamond host many events throughout the summer that can be fun for older kids. "
    • Rylee B.
"Plenty of beautiful scenery for walks. Plenty of places to walk. Plenty of other friendly people and their dogs."
    • Paula V.
"Its okay I only take the bus when I have to. Thats all they have are buses no trains. The buses only really commute through out Meadville, they don't go that far."
    • Krista G.

"It has great access to the downtown amenities. Close proximity to a private college. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The town has many restaurants, stores, bars, activities. It has a small town vibe."
    • Precious_one1981
"It’s close to Allegheny college, but still most is a quiet neighborhood with no crime and decent neighbors. It’s fairly close to downtown and several grocery stores and pharmacies and banks. As well as several restaurants both fast food and small cafes. "
    • Kradnich
"It's close to town and easy to get out into the country. the neighbors are all friendly and we are within walking distance of the high school and much of downtown."

"I grew up in Meadville, and it is a wonderful area to live. Less than 2 hours to Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Buffalo. Active small town vibe with numerous activities available nearby."
    • Katherine L.
"For such a small town, Meadville is a wonderful place to live and raise a family. Some of the schools got failing grades; however, they are making strides to correct that."
    • Former R.
"Great area--except for 1 fact Taxes (school and property) way to high for size of town!"
    • D N.
"Great area with nice neighbors. Small town atmosphere with tree lined streets. Close enough to the college but not in the middle of "dorm-life." Love the brick road..."
