" The neighborhood is very nice. The trees and greenery are nice and beautiful. The hiking area areas are obtainable via car then hike. "
    • Dgarand13
"Pros: lots of safe streets to walk. Cons: Lots of through traffic. Dog mountain would be the best possible option for dog owners. It is about 5 miles from the middle of St. Johnsbury. "

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 28 years. I’ve lived in this town all my life. My neighborhood is safe and walked all the schools from kindergarten through high school and we have one of the top 10 schools and then I will stay in our town, St. Johnsbury Vermont. We have a well renowned library, Which includes an art gallery, and was recognized an architectural digest. We have a museum of a high quality That holds classes for children and has a planetarium as well. I have a first night activities, Maple Festival and many other community activities. We have a 15 mile bike path that is absolutely beautiful going through the woods in and along a lake which is increasing in size and expected to go all the way to Burlington Vermont when it is finished craft fairs and farmers market throughout the summer and fall. There are carnivals small surrounding towns not more than 10 miles away. Have a good places to eat there’s a movie theater and a small check to Littleton in the Hampshire or you can purchase items tax-free. I grew up here and it is a quintessential town and a wonderful place to raise children."

"I have lived in this neighborhood for 30 years. It’s a lovely, small town neighborhood close to downtown, the library, the museum, and all the schools. It’s one of the last quintessential small towns in America."
    • Nancyb708
"Small town living, many community events. Nearby shopping, highway access, easy commutes. Friendly town folk, decent schools, school choice."
    • Carrie W.
"Google St. Johnsbury Academy, St. Johnsbury Athenaeum, Catamount Arts, and St. Johnsbury Planetarium, for starters. This home is a 5-min. drive to those places, and yet sits on a private half acre lot in a quiet, clean residential area. It is just 5 mins. from a respected regional hospital--NVRH, and a huge newer Price Chopper. It's 20 mins. to Lyndon State College. Inside the home, you'll discover special areas for children, plus a laundry chute and build-in breakfast bench, duet shades, and lots of sunshine from all of the windows. A central staircase ensures that heat is evenly distributed throughout the home. Oak floors make for easy clean-up in the major traffic areas. The kids bath has a double stainless steel sink that works for getting ready quickly mornings, as well as for art projects. It has never been sold before. The previous sales price refers to the lot it sits on. This custom built home is waiting for a new family and friends. You'll have plenty here, with the fabulous wraparound porch and spacious interior. It's the perfect place for a retreat, as well as for parties and fun."

"This is a really cool area in the Northeast Kingdom but with plenty of amenities and a great museum. Beautiful country up here."
    • CJ
"I live on Cliff Street and have been here for 24 years. Kids can walk anywhere including school and even so, it's a quiet area. People are friendly and the town is great about services. There isn't a lot of nightlife for 20-30 year old people but that is what makes it ideal for families, kids, retirees. I think that's true for most towns in Vermont outside of Burlington and Montpelier."
