The staff at this school, every single one of them, are tremendously caring and helpful. They go out of their way to bring a sense of community to Kent Lake Elementary. Each and every person that works at this school should be honored and praised for their commitment to the children and families that attend Kent Lake.

This school provides excellent opportunities for students to grow both academically and personally. Students can participate in a variety of clubs such as Robotics, Science Olympiad, Student Council, HOSA and many others, which help them develop leadership skills and explore their interests. The teachers are very supportive and always willing to help students whenever they have questions or doubts in their subjects. They encourage students to learn new things, think creatively, and build confidence. It is a wonderful environment for students to learn and succeed.

I was bullied severely every single day, and wasn't getting the support in which I needed. It reached a point where going to school didn’t feel safe or even bearable anymore. The staff doesn't care for the well-being of students. As a matter of fact I was picked on by one of the staff members in which I will not name. I hate you South Lyon.
