Staff seem to really care about the students and actively involve the parents with their child’s progress and development.

California City High Scool, being such a small school, does not have the same scholastic opportunities that big city schools have, but they do well with what they do have. My daughter graduated in 2012 with a high GPA and was easily accepted to numerous colleges. The curriculum that was available to her prepared her for University level instruction and she has been well capable of maintaining Honor Student status. Being from one of the first graduating classes the school had, the teachers did well with what they had and surviving with what they didn't have. The staff was great when communicating about my child's accomplishments and her needs. The Athletic department could be better managed but she survived well through the turmoil. A better Athletic program could of aided her in obtaining sport scholarship opportunities which was denied to her due to constant turnover of coaching staff and lack of knowledgeable coaches. Only complaint was in athletics, other than that Bravo CCHS for continuing to improve your academic program.
