Both parcels front on Sylvan Rd. just SW of the junction of Iris Canyon Rd. & Barnett Segal Ln. in the prestigious Jacks Peak area, Approx. 650 Ft. from Del Monte Center. Topography is level to moderately sloping, culminating in a soft rise at the rear of the property. Zoned PC (Planned Community). The General Plan calls for "Very Low Density Residential" , i.e. fewer than 2 homes per acre. A conceptual rendering by RW&D Architects for 23 homes is attached (see photos) but no development plans have been approved. Only a 5/9 interest is being offered for sale at this time. However, the owners of the remaining 4/9 interest have indicated that they may be willing to sell.

I live in Monterey which is a beautiful area but gets crowded all summer (and much of the rest of the year) with tourists for the many events they offer. When I came out to visit, the older houses and natural areas made me decide to commit to moving out here."

We love it when a herd of deer amble through our backyard and when the squid fishermen light up the bay at night making a spectacular fluorescent view from the house. Only in Monterey!"
