"Custer is a good place for kids to learn community values and get out in nature. If you are looking for a place that has “activities” for your children, Custer is not it. "

"Good road system with moderate traffic during tourist season. Highways and roads in town are paved but most secondary roads are well maintained dirt or gravel."
