"There are many activities, events and outdoor family functions throughout the year especially in the spring and summer, as well as the old civic center venue, The venue is a full entertainment arena featuring concerts, family shows, consumer shows, and sporting events. There is also so many places to eat from and all sorts of different cuisines, and the hospital is less than 5 minutes away with several full time paid firefighters to ensure our safety. It’s an amazing, clean, beautiful and family oriented environment to raise and grow a family in. Sidewalks are on every street with the sidewalks always kept up to code and safe for all to walk, run, ride, walk your dog or push a stroller around, and there is even ice cream places on top of all the other great good choices. "
  • Wineguyjmg
"Great place to live and raise a family. Sad, clean. Downtown has great restaurants and night life. Very affordable. 15 minutes from saratoga or Lake George. "
  • Kaylee rumrill

"There is a weekly farmers market right in town, weekly food truck event at tee shirt factory, art events, live music in town, pop up shopping events at local boutiques, tons of fitness and yoga events. Great places to grab coffee, breakfast, or dinner & cocktails in town. Also, the local arena/ ice rink has hockey and occasional live music concerts. "
