Despite struggles in the district because of its Superintendent (who is now leaving!) - Gaines Elementary has not only remained positive about its outlook, but students have flourished. Nominated last year as a Blue Ribbon School - the teachers, students, parents, families and community work together to ensure these students receive everything they need to exceed expectations!

i absoulty love this schoool they show respect and kindness and the staff members show how much they appreciate there job by putting in a lot of effort and work in what they do they show mw that i mean something in this world and they always reminde you that you matter!!!!

I would like to give a big high five to MICHELLE LODER. I cannot remember the last time I have had such a pleasant experience with a school staffer. I spoke with her about a concern and she solved it for me. She called me back as promised and was so elegant and graceful I was surprisd because most people in this world are cynical and rude. It was about JOSTENS and she made me forget I was worried. when I told her I had a stroke she said she was sorry. very few people even show empathy. Please give her a big ole pat on the back for me. She must be a southern girl. Thanks, Mercedes Jones from Bolivar, Tn.

"Nice n quite, friendly, good ole small town country living with a few necessary amenities such as a local convenient store and bar. school with playground and multiple church's all within walking distance of the inner village. Love it here!!"
