"There is a small town sense of community with the fairgrounds being the central meeting place for families, events, including contests for horse riders, the county fair, carnival, kids’ team sports. People look after one another and their animals. There are many vendor markets that are held in various venues, including the wineries, throughout the year which promotes local artisans.
