The latitude and longitude coordinates (GPS waypoint) of Oklahoma High Top are 34.9245453 (North), -94.4916113 (West) and the approximate elevation is 2,385 feet (727 meters) above sea level. The city of Poteau, Oklahoma is about 20 miles. Ft. Smith, Arkansas, population about 80,000 is 35 miles, Dallas, Texas is about 4.5 hours. Oklahoma City is about a 3-hour drive. Nearby area points of interest include the 1.5-million-acre Ouachita National Forest, Lake Wister State Park, Cedar Lake, Sardis Lake, Kerr Lake, Broken Bow Lake, and the scenic Talimena Drive. LAND: This land is all mountain-type land currently used for hunting and recreation. An estimated 40 acres is atop the mountain and has moderate slopes and level terrain. From the top of the mountain, this land slopes down the mountain to the north and the south. The mountain runs from east to west. The maximum elevation is 2,381 feet, and the lowest elevation is about 1,900 feet msl. On the very top of the mountain, you will find a mix of blackberries, huckle berries, wild plum and black haw trees that produce edible fruit for the wildlife. There is also good grass for deer. There is a wide assortment of hardwood trees native to southeast Oklahoma. There is pine timber on the property that would be suitable for harvest. ACCESS: This parcel is accessed by a gas well road. Parts of the road will require a 4-wheel drive vehicle to access. The road is used by the public but is not considered to have legal access.       "Live in Poteau. It has the basics, stores, good schools, chain restaurants. New events center and fairly nice park. Low crime. It is within commuting distance of Ft. Smith. Convienient if you need "larger town" things. Junior college. Close to the Ouachitas and Wister Lake for outdoor activities"
