As a parent I feel the Parent/School interactions are more structured like a seminar. Show up, sit down, listen, leave. The interaction isn't very engaging, but the school has a large population so unsure how to fix these on a large scale. Perhaps focus more on Teacher - Class and less School-Family. Biggest problem here isn't the School or Teachers, but the Parents and Students. Many students don't care about learning at all and the Teacher's have very few tools to rein them in from distracting other students and being disruptive. Often these students act this way because their parents care the same amount about their education. Overall its a good school for those who want learning opportunities.

You get out what you put in. If you are active with the teachers they will be very responsive to you. If you ignore the teachers, your child will reflect your attitude toward their learning. My youngest has attended this school for 3 years now and has ADD, she still thrives because we work with and follow up with the teachers. Some of her classmates struggle and this is in no part the Teacher/Schools fault as the opportunities to succeed are there but require some home-effort that the children aren't getting. My child will be returning in the fall and we expect the school to continue being just as great as it has been thus far.
