My daughter just transfered to Lone Grove High School. She loves it. The students, staff, and coaches have been wonderful. God has answered our prayers. She loves to learn and Lone Grove provides teachers that are preparing students for college or the work world. They expect the best and she likes the challenge. Longhorns all the way. Not to mention great coaches ( Basketball and Softball).

I find this school system is more dedicated towards athletics and not child well being of impressing the need for a good education. We all can't throw a football.

There are things that could be worked on the staff are great and especially the teachers

My boys just moved to LG and love it. They were very nervous at first, but from day one they have enjoyed going to school here. All the staff members I have met or interacted with are very friendly and kind. There is a new principal at the primary school, Mr. Cunningham, and he is a nice man from what I have seen. My son likes him. The principal at the intermediate school, Ms. Benson, is very sweet and always helpful. My kids both have all A's and have done so great in reading. They also have little to no homework, which is a great change from our old school. We are really pleased with this school system!
