Everything has been good staff and teachers has been really great with my son and I truly appreciate this, however ever since the new school year started and the vice principal was swapped to new one the school has felt worse for my son as the new vice principal makes unjust decisions before investigating the facts, it can affect childrens mental health mainly their self esteem

My daughter transferred to this school after experiencing bullying in her previous school. Mead valley elementary prinicpal warren is incredible. He cares about the students and takes the time to greet the students and parents and will address concerns . From the day my kid started she felt important and seen. She is learning so much and they have excellent support there . I wish i had transferred her sooner.

The courseload is good; you can choose from the IB program, AP classes, dual-enrollment, etc. We have ballet-folklorico, dance classes, yoga, etc, piano. The teachers are amazing-- a lot of them are really approachable, experienced, they know what they are doing, and they will help you if you need it. The administration is another story, though. Their attitude toward sexual assault and racism is lackluster; you can expect them to do very little if anything at all in response to such incidents. I've been called numerous slurs by numerous people and admin will do nothing about it. There used to be organizations like a BSU which helped students who were a part of oppressed groups get together and have a support group, but for some reason the BSU doesn't exist anymore.
