Gilmore is a wonderful rural school. Smal in size but has some of the best teachers in the county. With the largest class size being around 20 and the smallest 13, teachers have the ability to spend 1 on 1 time with each child. I attened this school as a child and i live where i do so my son could attend school here as well. On a scale from 1 - 10, i give Gilmore a 9.9

"The city has many festivals and events including “Harvest in the Wood” and “Ohio River Festival”. The city and the Parks and Recreation group do an excellent job of providing plenty of activities for the community."

"Small town. Nice small stores. Plenty of fast food choices for special treats. I love living 5 minutes from town. "

"No public transportation. You either walk or drive to go places. Most essentials are available in town but to go to movies, live music, sporting events, fine dining etc you have to drive an hour to get to. "

"I’m just visiting but it’s very nice and quiet. The people seem very friendly and often speak. The houses are nice with nice lawns. "
