9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent of a two children (one of which has IEP/504 plan) I would say that Chelsea High School as a whole is a great educational experience for my children. When ever there has been a need for help it has been provided. All students are required to take a 1 trimester class in 9th grade called study skills to make sure they understand and can be prepared for the rigors of High School homework and assignments. The High School book of classes to set up your schedule is very extensive -62 pages long! Any course outside of that book and deemed reasonable can also be taken virtually if available. There is also a Washtenaw County District Consortium opportunity for 11-12 graders for careers and/or jobs directly out of high school such as welding, Culinary Arts , Welding, Printing, etc... We moved to the Chelsea area in part for the quality of the education system... so far (K-10 that we have had experience with) has been very good, and hearing feedback from friends in other local systems our experience has been better then theirs... I would not hesitate in recommending the Schools of Chelsea... all of them.Parent Review3y ago - Beach Middle School

The opportunities are there for students to take challenging classes, pursue sports, play music, act in plays, and more. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEvery parent and child will have their own experience but I have nothing but positive things to say about this school. Recently this school has gotten a new principal who is fantastic! The teachers we have had (through 4 children), social worker experiences, communication from the principal/teachers has all been well received. If there has ever been a problem it has been addressed and worked through with child and parent included. Any issue or change in the curriculum has been communicated through email or a phone call.
