This school is an absolute joke. Portables have mold growing in the vents in the AC, the food is ridiculous, nachos taste and look like slop. The teaching is horrible, there are some teachers that are good but some never grade on time and don’t even care to teach correctly.

(PARENTS WITH KIDS ON THE SPECTRUM READ) My son went to kindergarten here. It was the worst school in the entire universe I swear my son was not given a iep evaluation despite me asking for it before school even started... they put him in time out all year long and the teacher was rude and disrespectful the entire year. She did not help him at all and I even saw marks on my child from the teacher squeezing his hands to hard... I had to get the school board involved... parents know your rights... they will tell you ... you need to wait... because there is a waitlist for kids to get evaluated to get the acomodations they need to learn... they refused to help.. I had to do a email to the school board letting them know they have 60 days to call me and start evaluation for iep... to my surprise they were able to do the meeting for us the following week.. despite they kept saying that I had to wait long list... despite that they did not give him a iep until 2 months before school ended... at that point.. what are you teaching him.. they do not care.. Marion oaks elementary has been the complete opposite they are helping him and even added behavior plans and OT plans along with his iep.. save yourself the time and the trauma for your child and go anywhere else.. this school does not help kids with neurodyvergent disorders. Run literally the opposite direction.. dont even look to this school.

My son has been bullied and picked on while at this school and teachers and administrators don’t do anything about unless it leads to a fight or a threat! This school is so sickening!
