      "This area has beautiful large oaks, is a quiet neighborhood/town with the BEST schools. After moving to Bay City from Van Vleck we transferred our girls from the Bay City ISD to Van Vleck ISD their 3rd and 5th grade yr. Excellent choice. Teachers there really care for their students, and discipline is straight forward and a reality. This location is great as it is 15 minutes to Phillips plant and 30 minutes to the Nuclear plant. It is also 30 minutes to both Matagorda and Sargent bays and beaches for the avid fisherman. What a blessing to be able to sit on your back porch and watch and listen to the birds and watch other wildlife. This particular property backs up to a large ranch which is also beautifully wooded."
