"The only community event has been parades when it’s close to Mardi Gras season. Families with children of all ages come out to that. It’s a time of good, clean fun. "

"My neighborhood is more of a rural setting. Small town. It's quiet for the most part. It's not uncommon to have to wait for farm equipment driving down the road. There are railroads, so waiting for trains isn't uncommon either. "
