I have two children currently enrolled at McAdoo and out of the entire school district, this is the best!! The teachers, the staff, the nurse, even the librarian are fantastic. They are patient and kind to everyone. I would not send my kids anywhere else (until they get to HS that is).

"short commute and nice people and neighbors. local grocery store, farmers market in 2towns over. easy commute to hazelton humbolt industrial park and Valmont industrial park. fast food in Hazelton all major chains. "

"I live in Mcadoo, its better then most areas. East side is nicer then West. Kids are good to play outside, and ive had no theft or damages living here. So I feel safe."

"I LIVED IN THE AREA AND IF I WOULD HAVE ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY I WILL MOVE BACK TO THE AREA GOOD NEIGHBORS ITS QUITE AND SAVE ARE I HAVE 3 GIRLS AND MY OLDEST ALWAYS TELLS ME SHE WANTS TO MOVE BACK TO THE ARE YOU GOT PARKS, PHARMASIST, GROCERY STORE, GAS STATION, AND SCHOOL ALL RIGH THERE LOVE IT I REGREET MOVING FROM THAT ARE ITS THE BEST I LIVED THERE FOR 6 YEARS"

"Mcadoo is a friendly community with small town hospitality yet offers larger town amenities,such as, police, fire and ambulance service. Groceries,convience store,pharmacy, playground,roller skating rink,churches and restaurants are within walking distance.Public transportation is available to shopping malls in Hazleton and Hometown. Public and parochial schools are located in Mcadoo. "
