There needs to be some serious updates at this school from top to bottom. Administration is terrible. Some teachers do not have enough time in to properly instruct kids and teach them to improve. When you ask for a meeting with the teacher or principal you get the runaround. Other schools are having Math night, science night or both. They have "literacy night" and they sing songs and have useless activities that have nothing to do with literacy or show me what my daughter has been learning each day. We are not happy with John Lawrence elementary.

I have 2 children currently in WMS and one coming soon from elementary. One of my children I’m there now has autism and is in special classes and is doing wonderful. Mrs Allison is a a wonderful caring and supportive teacher and I am thankful my son had her our first year in NC! He will be going to WHS this upcoming year. My other son will be going to 7th and has honor roll, teachers are very responsive and he seems to be making friends since moving here from MA. I am very happy we ended up in Randolph County and the Wheatmore and Trindale school district.

My daughter graduated from Wheatmore last year and we found both the administration and guidance staff very approachable. Guidance Counselor Ms. Jessup was very thoughtful with working with my daughter.
