4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI feel sorry for anyone who is in this school district. This school and faculty are more focused on what kids wear than academics or helping kids grow into competent and contributing adults. Fights several times a day in the bathrooms, there are meetings for groups that you are not notified about unless you have a facebook account, and search and try to figure out what accounts are something your kids should be involved in. There is zero communication from the school on anything of value, teachers and counselors do not care, your kid needs to know the right people to be involved in sports or they will not even be allowed to try out for the team. The construction has it to where kids don't even know where they should be. I have always been that parent who backs the school and faculty rather than my children, but I have seen it all firsthand. My kids getting dress-coded for wearing sweatpants - nice brand name ones, yet when I pulled up to the school, several other kids were wearing them. This school is an absolute embarrassment. I am now moving my kids to another school - I would highly recommend avoiding this school at all costs unless you support your children feeling inadequate and being bullied.Parent Review1y ago - West Brazos Junior High School
