As a parent I highly recommend Shepherd. My 3 boys have been attending Shepherd for 2 years now and have to say out of the 3 schools my boys have attended it's by far the best. Staff is amazing and everyone is a huge family.

"it is a quiet low traffic neighborhood. neighbors are friendly. kids play safely outside people have small livestock, chickens, goats ect. "

"We have a lot of neighbors that abuse their animals that’s what makes it unique. People around here just don’t care about their animals they leave them out in the freezing cold and they abuse them until they’re cooked so cruel and mean that they have to be put down. And the schools and Sheppard are horrible especially the high school"

"The speed limits are to high and need to be lowered. Too many animals are hit by speeding vehicles. Its a farming community and its not safe from speeders"

"I love being able to walk my dogs without a leash in our subdivision; I love being able to ride my road bike in any direction and never run out of road or tire of a route; I love the sunsets and views, love relaxing on the pond. Close to school and community center, great safe area, wonderful water-never haul it! This home is a must see!"

"What a difference between this area and town! When I go out there, it just brings me a sense of peace and quiet. Surrounded by mostly ag, it's like living in a small town without the city council! People there seem to care for their neighbors, and most of them keep their huge lawns immaculate! Nice place for someone wanting to relax each day and not put up with the hustle and bustle of the city (which is only 7 miles away). Nice places!"
