10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children have attended Brannen for years. The parent involvement in the school is fantastic. Out of all of our years at Brannen, fourth grade is the worst. It seems in the last years the teachers teach to the state test, not student foundational skills and learning. My child and friends of my child are increasingly frustrated and their confidence is suffering. We as many parents are working hard at home to make it out of Brannen with our childrens self confidence and love for learning in tact. Up until now I have been a huge supporter of Brannen, But that has changed. I question the quality of education for my child and the ongoing training of the teachers.Parent Review15y ago1 Reviews - Brazoswood High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe cheer coach is so toxic and do not treat the cheerleaders good at all, as a mother of a high schooler I am disappointed. The pure favoritism of the teachers is very obvious. I have come to hear multiple story’s of bullying, yet, nothing is done by the incompetent teacher. The current cheerleaders, as of now, are toxic as a result (specifically varsity).Parent Review10mo ago7 Reviews - Lake Jackson Intermediate School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’ve been to this school. The 8th grade teachers (not all) are horrible. not just at teaching, but they’re just so so rude to students and literally will pick at you unless you’re a popular kidOther Review1mo ago7 Reviews - Rasco Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIncident happened today where I called school at 12 pm, 4 hours prior to school let out time, telling the office staff that my son would ride his bike home today, to surprise him with further responsibility with a note/walkie talkie with directions and they confirmed. Waited for my son, couldn’t find him. Drove to school, went to the bike line, his bike was still there, questioned staff where he was the staff was extremely rude and not helpful until one teacher (Mrs. Cooper) helped me and after 15 minutes we found him, in the car rider line. Finally got my son, then they proceeded to tell him that he could not ride his bike across the campus because part of the bike is “motorized” so my son had to push it across the campus and then I was finally able to retrieve him. Poor communication, negligence on their part for not informing my son after they had confirmed they would, very unacceptable and such poor leadership.Parent Review8mo ago3 Reviews - Check out schools near FM 2004 Rd.

"Lengthy but worth it. Small town feel with great people. Plenty of your average amenities, but if you want something different well then expect to drive."

"288 is always congested when commuting to and from Houston. It takes from 1 and a half to 2 hours and the cops are hungry "

"I drive back and forth to Pearland/Houston area a lot. Straight drive on highway..love that. Everything is close to the house so I don't ever drive far for anything. Unlike in the city...I could take 20-30 minutes to get to one place."

"This is a quiet and friendly neighborhood. The age mix has changed from very few children to a great generational mix. Trick or treaters walk the streets, people wave at each other. The mailman delivers the mail to the front door. We have lived in this neighborhood for 17 years."
