2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHORRIBLE!!! The teachers are unprofessional and argumentative!! I cannot believe some of them are even educated. The principal is all over the place. And the curriculum is very poor. My daughter attended this school for 2 years. After 2 years enough was enough. I felt she was barely being taught and the teachers talk to the kids crazy. I purposely spent a bunch of money to move out of the district and I am glad at my decision. My child doesn’t have any issues at the new school. And the curriculum is better. If you are new to the area and care about your students education I’d suggest looking into a private school or charter school. Trust me!Parent Review3mo ago18 Reviews - Westfield High School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to school here from 1998-2002. It was a good school. Alot has changed since then, mostly the influx of disadvantaged and low income families to the area, which is a tough challenge. Katrina brought alot of the new students to the area where many have come from difficult circumstances. I wish the school all the best, there are certainly many areas to work on.Other Review5y ago9 Reviews - Bammel Middle School

"I’m actually searching for the right location. I have known about this area for many years and would recommend it to anyone. Seeing that I was raised and resided in the Southeast and surrounding Bay Area, I highly recommend this location. I also practiced Real Estate for 20+ years outside my primary employment, the area is highly sought after. I am looking to downsize to a location for myself seeing that both of my children have graduated from College and now happily married. I am also widowed and this location appeals to my style of living for many years to come. More information will be requested by me. Thank you "

"We don’t do anything in this neighborhood. Everyone keeps to themselves and as of recent our vehicles have been getting broken into. The water valves don’t work for lawn care and they charge mandatory $100 maintenance and the grass/trees are still your responsibility. "

"You see people walking their dogs all the time, it’s very pet friendly. The downside is there is nowhere for dogs specifically, the grass is not super well kept and the dog poop is everywhere. "

"There are lots and lots of dogs in our neighborhood. Dog walkers are out around the neighborhood most of the day, but it really picks up in the late afternoon and early evening. Most yards here are small, so daily walks are important."

"This neighborhood has a bad reputation because of the surrounding areas that are well lit with crime, but this neighborhood is actually very quiet, wholesome, friendly, and active. People go on walks and even bring their kids to walk with them. There aren’t very many people in this area that you don’t see on a regular basis. The people that live here are known well and are genuinely nice people all around. "

"This area is mostly elderly people and with the apartments “la casita” is not safe anymore, too many gunshots at night and during daylight. We need more police patrols in the area. "
