4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am writing to express serious concerns regarding the safety, conduct, and overall treatment of students at this elementary school. My sibling is currently enrolled here, and based on both my past experiences as a former student and recent incidents involving my brother, I believe the environment poses significant risks to students’ emotional well-being and physical safety.During my time as a student, I personally experienced inappropriate and harmful behavior from certain staff members, and these issues were never addressed. It is deeply troubling to witness similar patterns occurring again with my sibling.Recently, my brother has been subjected to incidents involving physical misconduct, discriminatory treatment, and actions that have negatively affected his reputation. Despite these concerns, the school appears to be pursuing disciplinary action against him while failing to appropriately address the behavior of staff members involved in these incidents. Of particular concern is an incident in which a staff member allegedly made physical contact with a student in a manner that, if confirmed, would be unacceptable and in violation of school policy.Additionally, there are serious concerns regarding the handling of students’ medical information. The school nurse has reportedly shared confidential health-related details with individuals who are not authorized to receive such information. This not only violates student privacy but also places children at risk when urgent medical needs are not responded to appropriately.Overall, the pattern of inadequate supervision, lack of emotional support, inconsistent disciplinary practices, and potential violations of student rights raises significant concerns about the school’s ability to provide a safe and supportive learning environment. I am requesting that these matters be reviewed thoroughly and addressed immediately to ensure that no child continues to experience harm or neglect while under the school’s care.Other Review5mo ago8 Reviews - Cathedral City High School

"Great neighbors, lots of local restaurants and stores and small town feel to the city. Community events include pickle ball and golfing events, city hall services like free data shredding, large waste item pick ups to help keep dumping down and other city services"

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for two years and love the diversity, friendly people and all the close shops and stores. Litter is a bit of a problem but I plan on pitching in more to help keep things a bit cleaner"

"The neighborhood watch means to stop some of the crime but it is not very successful. Lots of cars are racing throughout the night. Fighting is common at the grocery, Starbucks , etc."

"The city is having more and more civic events, I have seen this increase a lot over the years. I would expect this to continue to expand. There is a new Casino being constructed by the Agua Caliente band of Mission Indians. There other Casinos are top notch. I’ve lived here all of my life and it’s nice."
