3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA lot of this information is false. First, we are no longer a high school, we serve 7-12 grade and are considered a Jr/Sr High. We are also changing principals this year. Programs wise, we have Workshop, Spanish, Sign Language, Health, Gym, Technology, Art, Band, and Choir. Our band and choir programs are wonderful and the director is amazing.Sport wise, we have football, powderpuff, bowling, basketball, softball, track. We also have 21st century after school programming and tutoring. The teachers are always able to help and dedicate more of their time than most students care about.Club wise, we have a robotics team, key club, green team, and SLS. (Which I would push everyone to join. ), plus a bunch of other clubs following 21st century. We also offer classes at the career center. We also have AP classes and other great things, including online courses and credit recovery during the summer. The test scores are mainly pure laziness. The teachers work their hardest but the students do not. Just this year we had a student go on a full ride to Yale, and countless others graduating with high GPAs.This school is really great, and I don't think that test scores should be what gives it such a low score.Student Review10y ago9 Reviews - Atherton Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA lot of bullies at this school the students and Staff to the point of my young child tried to take his life. My child got stabbed on the bus by another student with a mechanical pencil and nothing was done. Then got bullied in gym by another student as the student pushed him down and he stuck up for himself and he got suspended for self defense. One of the teachers kept blaming him for doing things when he was in kindergarten like chewing on crayons that she had bought him a dog chew toy and tied it around his neck. He would always come home with marks on his body. He was treated awful at Atherton schools.Parent Review2y ago14 Reviews - Check out schools near E Maple Ave.

"There are public bus stops outside of the neighborhood. I see people walking all the time. There are gas stations and food nearby. Grocery stores are a couple miles further. I drive to Pontiac, MI for work and the interstate is less then a mile away. "
